Our Pastor
We are Con and Nancy Sauls, The Congregation of Windy Cove called us to pastor at Windy Cove in July 2020, and we arrived and began work on September 13, 2020. We met at Oklahoma Baptist University in 1976 and were married two years later in Golden, Colorado. We have three children and thirteen grandchildren. I am a native Virginian from Bristol, and Nancy is from Colorado.
Having received a BSN from OBU, Nancy retired in 2019 after a forty-year career as a NICU nurse. I have a BA in Religion from OBU, an MA in Management from Tusculum College, and graduate work in Church History from Denver Seminary. I received a call to pastor at age 61 in 2015 after a career with the US Department of Labor and twenty years in Higher Education.
Having known about the history and ministry of Windy Cove for many years, it seemed only an act of the Holy Spirit could bring about this time for us to minister here as pastor. We love life in Bath County and the Allegheny Highlands and truly enjoy making it our home.
